Extreme Edge

Crash Bang Boom,
I had started climb the indiana jones wall so I went to a bit when you had to balance on a plank of wood. Or you would have to start again. I finished that part, now I have to walk across a bridge. But I was at the hardest bit you had to climb these really skinny bits of wood so I grabbed onto the narrow parts of wood and then I knew I was finished...

Extreme Edge Rockclimbing

It was extreme when I started to climb the Indiana Jones wall. I was racing with my friend. Two more steps left! I did it, I beat him, I was so happy. But I said good job to him. Then I went to the snakes and ladders wall. It was a bit hard. So I decided to go to a different wall.

Why Tigers Are Not Multi-Coloured

Long ago, in a forest called Amazon, there lived a group of tigers. Their leader's name was Chan. He and his ambush were not your ordinary tigers. They were multi-coloured! They were all shades of blue, purple, pink, green, red, orange, silver and yellow.

One day Chan finally announced, "We are sick and tired of being all colours. We shall speak to Athena, the goddess of colours, and ask her to change us all to one colour!" "But what colour?" asked one tiger, so the tigers had a discussion. They decided that some tigers would be orange with black stripes, and some with white with black stripes.

So they went to Athena's Cloud Palace on top of the Jade Tree-shelter. As the tigers entered the palace, Athena came up to Chan and whispered to him, "Come along to the explanation room." She sounded like she was anxoius to know why the handsome purple tiger had come to see her.

When Chan explained why he and his ambush came to be colour-changed, Athena exclaimed "Why do you want to be only two colours?!" "We are tired of giraffes and hippopotamuses gawping at our colours. We don't want to be a laughing stock!" Chan told her.

"Very well, I will change you and your ambush to your colours of desire, but you must repay me with 10,000,000,000,000 California Clouds." Athena said. "We only have one left!" exclaimed Chan. "Well put it in the photo-copier, you silly!" yelled Athena, pointing at the silver machine.

Once Chan had payed Athena the amount, she gave him a somke bomb and told him to stand in front of his ambush and set it off. Once he did so, when it went off the tigers were their new colours! He thanked Athena and he and his ambush left the palace happy and not colourful.

The Burma trail

"Rustle rustle" Goes the wind blowing on my red cheeks, as I was creeping down the Burma Trail. My tummy felt like it had butterflies in it. I was so so scared. It felt like I was blindfolded and a ghost was behind me, trying to scare me. It was really cold inside the Gully. We had to hold on to string and an adult would be in front of us and they would tell us the directions of where to go. There were some traps but we couldn't see them. When I reached the Amphitheatre I hit a log and I was nearly finished doing The Burma Trail. When I had to climb up the steps on the Amphitheatre it felt a bit scary because you can fall down easily. When we finished doing the steps we did a little bit more and then the adult said  "The string is broken.' So I had to crawl and then I was finished and when I took off my blindfold I felt happy that I did it.

The Burma Trail

'Ok, here we go.'I got a blind fold on. I went in. It was dark and spooky, I stepped down a step there was a lot more to go and there was a wet soggy log in the way. I had to hop over it.I didn't even notice.I had to step on the other side of the rope. The bush got in my face and that was annoying, so I said:"Can I step on the other side." I needed to anyway. I walked along the slippery path.

I was very scared. After a little while I felt much better. While I was following the string, I never realised that a rubbish bag was coming near me and when it hit me I got a fright, such a big fright that I jumped over the log and I really enjoyed it.

The Burma Trail

SNAP!  Went the sticks as I walked through the gully. When I walked through the gully I was scared and nervous, then I heard Fiama in front of me saying'' Darlene I'm scared'',so I went in front of her and kept on walking.I was still kind of terrified of walking and then I heard Grace being scared so I just went in front of her and I made it to the amphitheatre. A man's voice I heard told me to step up and up and up and then crawled up to the end and put my blind fold off and saw Grace at the end and walked back to the tents.

The Burma Trail

It was a dark and cold night and we were going in the Gully to do a Burma trail. I put my blind-fold on and started on the Burma trail. I had to feel the string to get to the end. We went through obstacles. The obstacles were plastic bags, leaves , logs, branches and all kinds of stuff like that . I stumbled down some stairs a few times and twisted my ankle but it got better. "Crackle crackle" went the gravel on the path. As I heard  the creatures russling in the bush. I reached the Amphetheatre and stepped up the humungous stairs. I found the string again and walked up the leafy hill. I stumbled a few times but got back up again. Then they told me to take my mask off and I realised where I was and whispered ''That was fun'' and thanked the parents.

The Burma Trail

I can feel the wind blowing in my face as I fall from step to step. I am creeped out but I am determined to keep on going. There are people everywhere so it is completly safe. One of the parents shouted "Watch out, take a big step." I think it's a log. I could feel the stones under my feet. "You're almost there." I could feel that the rope had broken off. I would have to climb the bank.  It was very slippery. There were lots of leaves. I almost fell one time, that was pretty scary.  'Click click' I could just see a flash of light. It was a camera. "Now" somebody said. "Take a big step." "You have finished."

The Burma Trail

Ping ping ping went the silky string as the cold misty wind blows against the string as I carefully step up the crumbly steps. Then I take off my blind fold and I say''that was awesome.''

How The Elephant Got A Long Trunk

One snowy day Elephant invited Parrot to his house to be warm and play chess. So when Parrot replied like this:" I'm sure I am going to win, but OK...", they set off. "Welcome to my wonderful warm winter home! Now let's play some chess!" Soon the chess game was over, unexpectedly quickly. "Ha,ha,ha, I win!" Parrot exclaimed nastily, with a smirk on his face. But Elephant knew what to say back, so he replied with, "You are so incredibly mean Parrot!!I don't like you anymore!"

The dark starry night soon arrived and Parrot spotted a somewhere cosy to sleep in Elephant's little cottage. He couldn't get to sleep because the annoying comment kept ringing through his mind, he kept trying to cook up a nice big payback. This is what kept him thinking....

"I've got an idea, because I always thought his trunk looked weird, it's payback and it's good." He shouted such a horrible compliment that Parrot felt he should do something back.
Soon he fell asleep and morning came too quickly.Suddenly, however, he remembered his fantastic plan, "I must be ready!" He thought, "I must be ready, Elephant will want to play soon."

Parrot was right, Elephant woke up and asked to
play! "Parrot, come play with me! Hurry up!!" Elephant yelled as loud as a lion's roar. "Well, first I have a surprise for you! Come here!"

So for the next 10 minutes Parrot carried out Elephant's payback, Parrot pulled on Elephant's short trunk and it extended.
Nowadays Elephants have long trunks.

Burma Trail

Rustle rustle...waved the flax bushes as I walked through the Burma Trail.  While I was walking I could feel the silky string.  Suddenly I felt something hit my head."Ow what was that?" I said."It's a log... put your foot over it." said one of the adults.  I could hear the crickets chirping in the Burma Trail while I was walking.
