Why Tigers Are Not Multi-Coloured

Long ago, in a forest called Amazon, there lived a group of tigers. Their leader's name was Chan. He and his ambush were not your ordinary tigers. They were multi-coloured! They were all shades of blue, purple, pink, green, red, orange, silver and yellow.

One day Chan finally announced, "We are sick and tired of being all colours. We shall speak to Athena, the goddess of colours, and ask her to change us all to one colour!" "But what colour?" asked one tiger, so the tigers had a discussion. They decided that some tigers would be orange with black stripes, and some with white with black stripes.

So they went to Athena's Cloud Palace on top of the Jade Tree-shelter. As the tigers entered the palace, Athena came up to Chan and whispered to him, "Come along to the explanation room." She sounded like she was anxoius to know why the handsome purple tiger had come to see her.

When Chan explained why he and his ambush came to be colour-changed, Athena exclaimed "Why do you want to be only two colours?!" "We are tired of giraffes and hippopotamuses gawping at our colours. We don't want to be a laughing stock!" Chan told her.

"Very well, I will change you and your ambush to your colours of desire, but you must repay me with 10,000,000,000,000 California Clouds." Athena said. "We only have one left!" exclaimed Chan. "Well put it in the photo-copier, you silly!" yelled Athena, pointing at the silver machine.

Once Chan had payed Athena the amount, she gave him a somke bomb and told him to stand in front of his ambush and set it off. Once he did so, when it went off the tigers were their new colours! He thanked Athena and he and his ambush left the palace happy and not colourful.
