The Burma Trail

Crumble, Crumble, goes the small tiny stones as I carefully walk from step to step. I am holding onto the long rough string so I know where to go. I continue to pass through the many obstacles and the dark native gully. I can hear the parents helping other blindfolded children. I start taking huge steps up the amphitheatre. I reach the top of the amphitheatre and start climbing up vertically, I can feel the cold hard dirt on my hands I know I am in the open bush. Finally I reach concrete. A parent said ' You can take your blindfold off." I was happy that I had finished.
